Veterans no longer have to suffer the pain, anxiety, stress, depression, sleeplessness, or other effects as a result of the psychological impact of battle-related trauma.
When disturbing events happen, it leaves an imprint or code within the brain and body, continuing to cause the individual to experience troubling thoughts and a highly activated nervous system as if the traumatic event of the past is happening (subconsciously) in the present.
Through a revolutionary, proven trauma-based therapeutic modality known as The Cortina Method (TCM), veterans are guided through a short-term series of brain-based healing exercises (1-3, two-hour sessions) that resolves emotional disturbances from past or current events. The memory of the event becomes “just a memory” and the veteran is fully in the present, no longer feeling like the past event is still happening.
Unlike traditional “talk therapy” which can last several sessions over many many years – and oftentimes do more emotional damage by anchoring past traumas – the healing experienced with TCM is immediate! The mind is cleared and the body is free!
No hypnosis. No drugs. And no need to recite or relive the pain of past events!
